INTRODUCTION:
The Nordic Personal Trainer Certificate (NPTC) is an innovative, comprehensive course created as an effective online solution to becoming a European Level 4 Certified Personal Trainer! The course has been designed specifically to support students who need to split their time with other priorities whilst they study in their spare time to become a fitness professional.
The course development goal was to achieve the same quality and scope of education through e-learning as could be provided through traditional face to face courses. In 2019, the NPTC was the first, purely online personal trainer programme to achieve full, professional, Level 4 accreditation through Europe Active. NFE products continue to break new ground in online fitness education.
ENTRYREQUIREMENTS:
In order to register for the PT course students are required to meet the following pre-requisites.
- Completed high school / secondary level education
- Be skilled and confident in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Time and availability to complete the course within 24 weeks
Note: As part of the online registration process you are required to provide a digital copy of a legal form of photographic identification.
QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE:
The NPTC is a tutor-supported, *BLENDED qualification that teaches students a comprehensive range of knowledge and practical skills required to work successfully as a personal trainer.
The programme has 6 modules for completion that are spread across 4 terms of study as follows:
1ST TERM:
Anatomy and Physiology / Fitness Instruction
2ND TERM:
Nutrition for Health and Fitness / Business Skills for Personal Trainers
3RD TERM:
Consultation, Testing, and Programme Design
4TH TERM:
Exercise Instruction for Personal Training / Fitness Internship
BLENDED – A mixture of Home Study Online and Face to Face Practicals / Assessment Days
