No Social Media at PTI

Back for another Academic Year at PTI

Hey Everyone, Hope you’re all well

We are glad to be back for another Academic Year at Platinum Training Institute.

Last week we started back with our Bio-Mechanics Diploma and Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training. Great to see so many new students interested in Health.

There is plenty happening over the next few months and into the New Year with a few projects kicking off (but we will let you know about them closer to the time)

One question I have been asked a lot is why PTI no longer has Social Media – Check out below.

No Social Media – Why?
Over this past couple of years I started experimenting with less and less Social Media – I would take a month off, delete the apps from my phone and eventually thought to myself “Why don’t I just delete them completely”

So I deleted all of my personal accounts (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram). I just didn’t find any value in them – in fact I found a lot more negatives than positives.

Personally I think that tech distraction is one of the worst culprits for Mental Health issues (I know there are a lot of people out there who agree with me).

This then obviously led me on to the Platinum Training Institute Social Media Accounts – Can I run a business without these? I deleted Instagram, then Twitter and all we had left was Facebook (“You can’t run a business without Facebook” I was told many many times)

So, should I keep Facebook even if I don’t find any value in it? My answer was No – Goodbye Facebook. So a few months ago we deleted Facebook and now PTI has no Social Media accounts (Just in case a few of you were wondering what has happened)

If you find more negatives than positives with Social Media then say Goodbye to it, If you find more positives than negatives then keep it – Don’t feel that you have to keep it just to stay in the race.

Just my opinion lol – If you would like to get in touch with us then call/email or arrange a meeting
