Certified Personal Trainer(Bridging Course) – CPT
Using the evidence based OPT™ model, learners will discover how to accelerate every client towards any goal. With these skills, learners will become a qualified solutions-expert that clients will come back to time and time again.

The CPT Bridging course covers the following objectives:

• Introduction to the NASM OPT™ Model
• Integrated Assessment
• Principles of Flexibility Training
• Principles of Core/Balance/Reactive/SAQ Training
• Principles of Resistance Training
• Fundamentals of OPT™ Program Design.

On successful completion of the NASM® CPT there is the option for continuing professional development within a specialist area. The two NASM® CPD courses available are the NASM® Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) or the NASM® Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).

Corrective Exercise Specialist – CES
The NASM® Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) was developed in response to the growing need for professionals with the ability to assist clients experiencing musculoskeletal impairments, muscle imbalances or rehabilitation concerns. The CES provides the advanced knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully work with clients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances or post-rehabilitation concerns.

Performance Enhancement Specialist – PES
An elite training programme for fitness and enhanced athletic performance, the NASM® PES is designed for athletic trainers, chiropractors, physical therapists, coaches and other sports professionals who want to work with players at all levels, from secondary education and university tier, to professional and Olympic level athletes.
