Course Conditions

1. If you are paying in monthly instalments you agree to make payments on a set date each month via Stripe Subscriptions. If for any reason you miss monthly payments this may result in a charge or your suspension or removal from the course without recourse to refund. Please note that should you wish to cancel your course part way through the programme that partial refunds of payments will not be made.

2. From time to time, PLATINUM Training Institute may need, for whatever reason, to change course dates or venues. PLATINUM Training Institute will let you know as soon as possible if this situation arises and transfer you to the next available course date and venue. PLATINUM Training Institute accepts no responsibility for any additional costs or losses incurred by you in moving to the revised date and venue.

3. Courses are subject to minimum numbers and we endeavour to confirm that the course will be taking place 1 week prior.

4. Students will have 3 attempts at any theory assessment (Exam / Worksheet etc) as part of their course. After the 3rd attempt they will need to pay an additional fee. / Students will have 2 attempts at any practical assessment as part of their course. After the 2nd attempt they will need to pay an additional fee. A £35 administration fee will be incurred for re-sits outside stipulated course days, course transfers, and for exams where you fail to turn up or cancel within the 48 hours prior to the course. The same fee will be charged to mark late work. If you miss a hand in date you may need to be transferred to the next cohort and will be charged for a re-assessment. If there are extenuating circumstances these will be taken into account.

5. In the event that a student would like to request to cancel a course or transfer, they must apply in writing to the PLATINUM Training Institute Team at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the course or relevant attendance day. No refunds will be given after 28 days from the date of purchase of the course. In the event that a refund is granted, the course deposit of 10% of the total fees (and / or card fees) will be deducted from the monies returned to you. Any course materials or electronic hardware must also be returned to PLATINUM Training Institute in saleable condition. If the materials are deemed not fit for resale, further deductions may be made from monies to be refunded.

6. If you miss a teaching day that will need to be taught to you again a fee of £25 per hour will be applied as an additional tutor will be needed.

7. Certificates will only be issued once all elements of the course have been completed, full payment is made and will arrive to you within 20 weeks of the end of the course. Any student paying by instalments whose payments cease prior to the completion of all required instalments may have teaching and materials withheld until payments are re-established.

8. All personal information provided to PLATINUM Training Institute will be kept strictly confidential. It is the responsibility of the student to provide PLATINUM Training Institute with any changes of personal information. If up-to-date information is not provided, PLATINUM Training Institute accepts no responsibility for post sent to the student which is delayed or lost.

9. All students must comply with Health and Safety policies of the venues in which course are run.

10. Any student behaving in an aggressive or threatening manner, using racist or sexist language, or conducting themselves in a way which is deemed unacceptable to other students or tutors, may be removed from the course and forfeit the right to any refund.
