The menstrual cycle and its impact on training and performance has been largely ignored by the sport and exercise industry for decades. Despite it being clear that women do not respond to training as consistently as men do it is rare that programs are adapted to specifically cater for their needs. Working with the most up to date research, this course gives a detailed explanation of the menstrual cycle and the effect it has on performance capacity.
You will learn how to track the menstrual cycle and how to train and eat in accordance with it. This will be set in the context of multiple types of female athletes so as to get the best results whatever the training goals of the individual. This course is extremely useful for anyone working with female clients.

Prerequisites
For coaches of all levels wanting to expand their understanding of female specific considerations for training and nutrition.
While qualifications in sports coaching or personal training is advised, it is not a prerequisite. Individuals with no prior education will still benefit.
