Diploma in Teaching Pilates

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work in an unsupervised capacity; planning, instructing and evaluating a safe and effective Pilates session.
Learners need to be 16 or above to complete this qualification. YMCA Awards recommend learners have a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. Learners need to be 16 or above to complete this qualification.
The learner must complete:
• Unit 1: Providing a positive customer experience in the exercise environment
• Unit 2: Lifestyle Management and Health Awareness
• Unit 3: Applied Anatomy and Physiology
• Unit 4: Principles of Planning and Delivering Group Exercise
• Unit 5: Principles and Fundamentals of Pilates
• Unit 6: Plan and deliver a Pilates Session
*This Course is completed via Blended Learning (Home Study, LIVE Online Tutorials and Face to Face Practicals).
*As this is a Practical based qualification you will need to be available to travel to our offices in Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland for practical tutorials and assessments.
